Camellia wood (Tsubaki) is one of the highest quality woods from Japan.

We source this bokken from one of Japan's leading wood manufacturers to ensure a special wood quality.

Kendoka in particular, who use their bokken heavily, have long since discovered bokken made from camellia wood.

The very slow-growing wood has a beautiful colour and a very fine grain. It is very resilient and hard. Yet it is still relatively light!

The weight is approx. 520g (this information is for orientation purposes, the weight may vary by 50 grams or more) with a length of approx. 102 cm.

The bokken is waxed.

This bokuto has a spine ridge, which may require adjustment of these elements when used with tsuba and plastic saya.

Please note that this is extremely resistant wood. However, even this wood can be damaged by extreme loads.

To this end, it is produced specifically for us in Japan and appropriate conditions are created so that we can offer it on the EU market in compliance with the law.
A manufacturer in Germany is therefore named.
