Kogai from the last era of the samurai

Kogai dates from late Edo, early Meiji (ca. 1850). The production period is special and interesting because the entire samurai era ended with the Edo period.
This kogai was made during this period of extreme upheaval in Japan.

As an antique, this offer is subject to differential taxation in accordance with Section 25a of the German VAT Act. We therefore charge VAT separately. This is noted on the invoices. For formal reasons, the products are labelled incl. VAT, which in this case means incl. 0% VAT.
