Sword bag for transporting your sword
The bag has a carrying handle for transport. This handle allows the bag and its contents to be carried in the hand. The handle is positioned in such a way that the sword is balanced when the sizing shown below is taken into account. This makes the bag very comfortable to carry in the hand.
The bag also has a carrying strap. This can be attached or removed as required. With the strap attached, the bag can also be carried over the shoulder.
As you are most likely to bump the end of the sword against something when carrying it around, the bottom of the bag is reinforced for extra protection.
The inside of the bag is padded with soft fabric. The bag is large enough to fit the sword with a thin sword pouch. However, the bag's own padding already provides solid basic protection.
There is a small additional pocket with a press stud fastener on the centreboard pocket for a small box with a cleaning cloth.

In 3 different sizes, therefore suitable for swords up to 2.70
(Shaku).
We recommend the following size for Iaito with standard handle length:
Size S: everything up to 2.35 Shaku
Size M: 2.4 -2.55 Shaku
Size L: 2.6-2.7 Shaku
You can choose a larger size than recommended and also pad the base.
